jinflow & aeros · capabilities & outlook
What the engine does today, shown on a live atmospheric Study — and the frontier it opens next.
aeros · the Study
Capability · see the whole network live
Switch the pollutant colouring the map — NO₂, O₃, PM₂.₅, PM₁₀, SO₂, CO — and every station recolours at once.
A time slider walks the map through the record: watch winter haze flare and clear, station by station.
Against the strict guideline nearly every station exceeds. So colour by how many times over — and PM₂.₅ crosses its annual guideline at 255 of 260 stations.
Capability · from overview to evidence live
Click a station → its co-located pollutant streams appear → open one and its measured time series draws in place, with the guideline reference and the uncertainty band. Brush a set and the Selection follows you from map to table to chart — narrow once, everything answers.
The linked, brushed way of seeing — kept alive, now on the open web.
Capability · honest by construction live
Units (UCUM), roll-up rules, and uncertainty (GUM) travel with every value.

The diamond turns evidence into an answer — 5,082 findings across the Study — and each carries a trail back to its rows. The whole method rides inside the store (the Imprint): reproducible by construction.
Outlook · beyond SQL on the roadmap
So far the engine reasons in SQL. The Processor opens the store to methods SQL can't express — the first being PMF (positive matrix factorization), the workhorse of aerosol source apportionment.
Point it at a speciated matrix, and factor the mixture into its sources — inside the Study, with the same provenance, units, and reproducibility as everything else. Your method becomes a first-class citizen, not an export to a script that leaves no trail.
Outlook · the shape of what's next on the roadmap
Where this goes
aeros is not a demo of a finished thing — it's a living Study, on the open web, showing the engine do real work on real air. The frontier beyond it (the Processor, your own methods, the mass spectra) is close, and it's open to the science that needs it.
